Helmut and his wife were hiking when something caught Helmut's eye. He made the conclusion it was trash left behind. When he got a closer look it was a human body. Covered with ice that had started to melt. They were not sure if they were gonna report the body due to all the police questions they would get and ruin their vacation. They stopped for drinks at a near by lodge and that's when they decided to report the body to a worker. The police freed the body with doing that did make a few mistakes.

Some theories say he was accidentally shot due to the arrow they found in his shoulder. Others say he was being robbed for the items he had with him. His hand was injured so they say he could have fallen on his knife.
When he died he wasn't in the best health. He showed many signs of stress in the months before he died. His lungs were showing results from being around smoke from fires. He had a very small case of Lyme disease. He had very bad tooth decay and gum disease. So he was not in the nest health he could have been in.
Many people say the Ice Man has a curse. People that have had things to do with him have been killed and in bad accidents. One man helped put the body in a body bag the day of the finding a year later he was on the way to have a meeting about it and was in a bad car accident and was killed. One man made a documentary about the Ice Man and not long after died from a brain tumor.

I thought your blog post was interesting to read and kept me interested all the way through the post. I thought the different theories about how the ice man could have died were interesting. Since each of them were different from the other theories. I also thought his body height and weight were interesting since they are so different than the typical man's body height and weight now.

DeleteI enjoyed reading your blog. It kept me interested in the way that you told the story. I wonder how long they will keep Iceman's body before it decays completely. Our blogs were very similar, we had the same facts about what he ate and when he was found. We took a different perspective in how we told Iceman's story. You told in a short story way and I showed it in more of just facts way.
